Since 1989, when the company was first formed, Angus Morrison’s has remained an innovative business that is able to operate across a wide of the industry. Our business is able to provide skills in varying markets, from Maintenance and Commercial Installations through to Home Improvements and New Build properties.

We have steadily grown to become one of the biggest electrical firms in this area and are ever increasing our knowledge and training to serve our customers the highest possible quality of service on the island, and also within mainland areas.

We specialise in all types of electrical work including small domestic installations.

We also undertake electrical work in the industrial and commercial sectors working hand in hand with the main contractor or the customer direct.

The first contracts undertaken by Angus Morrison’s were completed in 1989/90 where 40 retirement flats were erected in Stornoway by Uist builders ltd, the electrical work was carried out by ourselves. Within a short space of time the new Shawbost school was erected, again Uist builders was the main contractor and all electrical work was carried out by ourselves. These contracts were shortly followed by work on runway lighting at Stornoway airport. Other contracts followed including Stornoway post office, Laxdale primary school, Bayble primary school and providing underwater lighting for fish farms. Electrical work on Commercial premises such as Boots ltd, Sportsworld and also Digby Chick restaurant have also been carried out.
